Nobody is saying guilty by association, at least not me. I am more interested in the man's character. That is the only reason I discuss these topics. I am not accusing him of being a criminal, nor have I ever.
Question #1: If Obama applied for a security clearance do you think that he would get one? The answer is no, because they do a thorough investigation on a person's associations. They examine the person's character and see if their past brings up any red flags. I can make a list of the associations that Obama has that would be enough to deny him this type of clearance. It's all about his character, and that is something that most of his supporters don't seem to want to hear about.
Question #2: OE, if you had a child and wanted to enroll them in a daycare, would it matter if the person watching your child had a past that included associations with criminals, extortionist, terrorists, and racists? I am asking you to think outside of the political arena here. Would you allow a person with the same type of associations that Barack Obama has had to watch your child?
I will add a variable to that same question. If this hypothetical daycare provider had friends that were involved in child pornography, or were members of NAMBLA, even though it was 5-10 years ago, would you still allow your child to attend that daycare facility? Would that persons associations matter to you? Would their character play a part in your decision?
This is all about a person's character for me, and nothing more.
