If in fact Barack Hussien Obama Jr. has clinched the Democrat nomination, do you think that he would be open to having Hillary Diane Rodham Clinton as his VP running mate?? Hillary stated that she is open to the idea, if it helps the Democrats, but do you really think that after all that has occured in the campiagn that Obama would go for it??
Clinton says she's open to being Obama's VPWASHINGTON - Hillary Rodham Clinton has told congressional colleagues she would be open to becoming Barack Obama's vice presidential nominee, saying she would consider it if it would help Democrats win the White House. |

He has said she would be on anyones short list.
The question I think is does he need her to shore up the womens vote. Or does he want to pick someone that gives him more help in the electoral College.

On one of the very first posts I made on this forum, I stated the kind of person Obama needs to choose for vp. He needs to choose someone like Wes Clark, to fill the perceived "lack of national security experience" void in his campaign.
But that's just my opinion. |

I think this has been one of the most civilized primaries in a long time.
Sure there were some things said but nothing either candidate can't live with. No, I don't think he will pick her but not becuase of whats been said this primary.

Taking Clinton as his running mate would result in the two of them killing each other in the end.
I'd rather he pick Edwards.

I'm too young to have first hand exp with other presidential runs, but if I were him, I'd stay away from her and not offer her any position in my cabinate. Then try to talk it off as we need a strong powerful woman like her in the senate.
