I'd rather he pick Edwards.
I'd prefer he pick Kucinich, Gravel or Richardson. Edwards is too much of a girly man.

"I'm a panda," he says at the door. "Look it up."

The waiter turns to the relevant entry and, sure enough, finds an explanation.

"Panda. Large black-and-white bear-like mammal, native to China. Eats, shoots and leaves."

When you said "girly man" I totally thought of Arnold.

I think Bill Richardson would be a great choice.

He has tons of experience, Both foreign and domestic. He can help with the south western states even possibly Texas and he is not seen as the old guard which helps with the Change argument.

Wes Clark is a Hillary supporter and a wimp.
He needs to pick Jim Webb, of Virginia...military credentials, and a bluedog Dem, to boot...lock and load.

Obama needs someone that has the military experience he lacks and that understands war, since that is the direction it seems Obama will continue leading this country if elected. Al Qaeda still needs to be hunted down, wherever they may be. Wesley Clark is the man with the strong credentials Obama needs. A Four Star General, a West Point graduate, Chief and Deputy Chiefs of Staff of the United States Army, United States Southern Command, Supreme Allied Commander Europe, and the list goes on. He is also very well decorated with the Defense Distinguished Service Medal, the Silver Star, the Bronze Star, the Legion of Merit, the Purple Heart and many more awards.

Richardson can't even handle security at his own borders.

Wesley Clark

I dont think Obama needs the kind of military mind that you claim.

I think he is more then capable of being Commander and Chief.
He will have great military minds to consult with.

Military experience has never been a requirement for the Presidency.
Two of our greatest Presidents had none and they were Presidents during times when the nation really was at threat. Namely the Civil war and WW2.

I think that the right is going to try and use his supposed lack of experience as an argument but I don't really care becuase they have no real foot to stand on. First off neither Cheney or Bush had any real military experience. Secondly McCain claims a lot of knowledge when it comes to war but it seems to me that someone that lost 5 planes in 20 hours of combat is not the best source of military experience.

My understanding is that Obama doesn't have a real choice in the appointment. The VP is chosen by the commitee. If so, they may nominate her as the VP for the sake of the party. After all the blows traded, it sure would be ironic.
