As usual you have it wrong. It won't be his lack of experience that will do Obama in although it certainly won't help. What will do Obama in is the republicans trying to blame him for the mistakes Bush made.

We saw this with Carter as the republicans launched a 24/7 attack on Carter blaming him for the mess Nixon and Ford made of the economy. We even saw this with Clinton as once again the republicans launched a perpetual attack against him as well. Face it, it doesn't matter which democrat gets elected the republicans will launch a sustained attack against them.

Then in 2012 after the republicans have practiced ever underhanded and mean spirited trick to drive a wedge between the country and democrats they will pony up another yo-yo claiming to be a uniter and not a divider and someone who will take the animosity out of politics. Only the republicans will make things worse as usual.

And that is what it means to be Cartered.
