Let's see, Obama has excellent blood pressure, good cholesterol levels, isn't overweight, and his EKG raised no concerns. The only problem he seems to have is that he's struggling with the nicotine habit.
So why should he be running to the doctor all the time? Just because he's not conservatively correct, someone will find some excuse to whine about this report. Sheesh. Now if he had high blood pressure like I do, he'd be seeing the doctor at least every six months, and it would be more reasonable to want a more up to date assessment of that condition.

People in good health go to the doctor less often, and it's my understanding that a yearly physical for a healthy person of Obama's age is not recommended. So where's the beef?

based on people's repsonces, it would seem pretty evident that it does make sense to them and they have no problem with it. You say he should be questioned based on current data, but I don't think he should. I believe that January of 2007 is current enough and no questioning is needed.
