by RS Davis The Freedom Files  Hello Freedomphiles! So, evren sends me this liveleak video of a guy stopped by a border patrol agent. She asks him if he is an American citizen, and he asks her if he's being detained. She presses and he doesn't relent. See how it turns out: LiveLeak.com - Rejecting Authority at Police State Checkpoint We're supposed to live in a world where the government leaves us alone unless they have probable cause that we are committing a crime. First they allowed sobriety checkpoints, because, while the court agreed they are a 4th Amendment violation, they deemed the state had a "compelling interest." (I have not, by the way, seen the "Compelling Interest" Clause of the US Constitution.) Then they did drug checkpoints. Now, its immigration. What's this about a slippery slope again?
