I never said that the American media helped create these staged scenes. I said they "ate them up". The same way CBS ate up those fake documents on Bush's national guard service.

The American media has certain ideological beliefs, and when a story comes down the pike that agrees with that ideology, they are more than willing to run with it, without subjecting such stories to much scrutiny.

Everything America is so pro-Israel it's sad.

Except NPR and PBS.
