I haven't seen him in any interviews, my guess this was a business decision to separate himself from the administration.

Another Bush employee comes out telling the nation that we went to war becuase Bush and Cheney wanted to and not becuase of any real issues.
When will the right wake up and realize that Iraq was the worst mistake in the last 30 years. |

according to polls, many conservatives/republicans HAVE realized that it was a huge mistake

Here is a link to some more detail.
And the truth is what we knew already but nice to have it backed up. I guess McCain better put more distance between him and Bush. Former press secretary's book bashes Bush - Yahoo! News WASHINGTON - Former White House Press Secretary Scott McClellan writes in a new memoir that President Bush relied on an aggressive "political propaganda campaign" instead of the truth to sell the Iraq war, and that the decision to invade pushed Bush's presidency "terribly off course.' The Bush White House made "a decision to turn away from candor and honesty when those qualities were most needed" — a time when the nation was on the brink of war, McClellan writes in the book entitled "What Happened: Inside the Bush White House and Washington's Culture of Deception." The way Bush managed the Iraq issue "almost guaranteed that the use of force would become the only feasible option."

So here is my question in regards to this fellow. If he is so upstanding and wanting to speak out why did he not resign when all of this was going on? I guess it is cool he is actually saying something but I wonder how much of it is actually true and not just hype to sell a book. I really do not think this guy is as moral as he is claiming to be.
