It's Over for the Republicans - Political Fever

The Republicans just lost their third Congressional seat this year in a special election in solid GOP territory. This is the same thing that was going on in 1994 only it was the GOP that was winning the specials throughout the year and then swept the elections in November. This November will be another 2006.

JACKSON, Miss. (AP) - Democrat Travis Childers has won a north Mississippi congressional race, claiming a seat the Republicans have held since 1994.

Childers defeated Republican Greg Davis on Tuesday in a special election runoff. He will fill the last several months of a two-year term the GOP's Roger Wicker started in January 2007.

I sure hope so. It's time for the pendulum swing. I hope the Democrats can repair the damage Bush has done.
