He does that because he is used to lock step politics and doesn't understand the difference between a hard earned nomination and being placed in power by the powered elite.

Actually deciding on a candidate is against republican understanding since they are pretty much just pawns to their leadership.

McCain is strong against pork and waste. However, the larger picture is out of control spending. McCain supports a bloated military budget. I don't. I think the entire budget process for the Pentagon and DOD needs to come under attack. They want you to believe we need to spend to make America strong militarily when in fact when you look at expenditures it is all about those billion dollar contracts going to the military industrial complex for budget or unneeded items.
True, he may not be totally wrong on the economy but he is wrong in that sense. That goes right along with saying in Iraq though. They are linked.
