Mr. New Owner of this site, you need to understand that you cannot increase number of members here if you will continue to display your fist.
We are not in the military base. OK? One thing is to preach the freedom of speech and be proud of the First Amendment and another is to actually exercise it. Only weak people cannot handle the different opinion. Bill of Rights Amendment I Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances. LII: Constitution ![]() |

"Congress shall make no law..." has nothing to do with speech on a privately-owned forum. The First Amendment defines the limitations of government, not citizens who control their own property.
You are free to take issue with the way things are done here, but the Constitution has nothing to do with it.

I agree with you guys on this. I will say though, I find it funny that most people, including some of you on here, forget the "Congrass shall make no law.." part when it comes to other amendments. The right to keep and bear arms, freedom of religion, etc. I wish our citizens, the Supreme Court, etc, would remember those words when making all decisions about what's Constitutional and what's not.

There is a pretty high degree of free expression here.
I would prefer to be able to curse more, but it's not consequential.

This forum used to fun untill new owner began displaying his powers publically, THREATEN PEOPLE, BAN THEM AND LOCK THREADS UP. This is not the way to run a business.
We are not in the military base. Only weak people cannot handle the different opinion. |
