She explained herself on Larry King, yesterday.
She made the remarks, on the weekend, during a stand-up comedy routine.
The truth is, the new owners of Air America, wanted to change her contract, she didn't.
She balked, and they used her comments to force her out("irreconcilable differences).
She seemed calm, cool and collected about it all.

I heard a local station in San Francisco has already hired her. You'll be hearing her in no time, ViolaLee. Personally, I found her voice so grating & irritating that I won't miss her a bit. I would prefer Thom Hartmann, but would settle for Sam Seder. Thom is so knowledgeable about economics; he completely blows all other talk-radio hosts out of the water, regardless of political spectrum. But I rarely get to hear him because I live in conservative hell & all we have is AM-right-wing-hate-talk-radio & my satellite radio doesn't pick up Thom.

LOL! You know what's so funny about her voice and accent? When I lived in Joisey I couldn't stand that bad NY accent. I couldn't wait to get away from it. Now that I'm in CA, I miss it. LOL! So I kinda like her voice. She definitely does exaggerate somethings, and she gets some of her info from sketchy sources. But most of the time when I research something she's said, she's spot on. And I don't hear that stuff from anywhere else. Thom and Sam and Rachael Maddow are great too.
