For all of you that thought Obama has the answer to bring the troops home, I am sorry to say that "I told you so". Everyone has been following his campaign promises, especially the one about ending the war and bringing the troops home (better known as redeployment). Well, it seems that the change he promised his supporters may come in the form of Obama changing his policy on how and when he will bring home the troops from Iraq. His truths are starting to rear their ugly heads.

Voting by conjecture about the future? My magical crystal ball got stuck between a yes and no response, so my guess is NO. Nice to see that we moved on from his cousin, wife, and minister to his campaign advisor.

This is more or less what I proposed a while back. Pull out most of our forces, but leave a small force to step in if things get out of hand, then pull them out too.

Well to be fair it's already ugly over there and I think it'd be wise to withdraw but leave some there.

I won't vote in this poll because it is apparent that the Obama camp is in disarray over their inconsistent position on withdrawl. They don't seem to know what they want to do.
McCain has stated from the outset that it will be necessary to maintain a reduced presence in Iraq for the foreseeable future. It would seem that Obama, having vehemently criticized McCain in the past, is now coming around to McCain's way of thinking about withdrawl. |

2010 is only 2 years into the presidency. 60,000 troops is half of what we have there now. That's how he promised to end the war, carefully. What's the problem? |

There's no disarray. This is exactly what Obama's been saying for years. He intends to get our troops out of Iraq as carefully as they were careless going in. |

Nothing wrong with discussing his family, friends, and ministers. A person is judged by the company he keeps.
