We haven't been attacked in 7 years and thats solely due to the invasion of Afganistan and Iraq
It would take too long to explain to you people why I believe this but all I am saying is give war a chance

Not to mention we're in it now. It's not the time to run out with our tail between our legs and I've got to say I've not been so hyped up about this war, especially with the money involved. At the end of the day though, when we've accomplished what we have so far if we back out now, we'd be letting the Iraqi people down and we'd be setting ourselves up for failure. Anyone that thinks we'd walk away unscathed is hoping for the best and that's not a good plan. We're trying to build a democratic country from the ground up and that can't happen in only five years. This isn't the first time we've attempted something of this nature and we've at least had a presence in these other countries for as much as 50+ years. I'm not saying we'll be at war that long, but we will at least be there in some capacity for quite a number of years, just with less cost at the time and less soldiers once we hit that point.
