From influencing public opinion through new media to designing "computer network attack" weapons, the US military is learning to fight an electronic war.
The declassified document is called "Information Operations Roadmap". It was obtained by the National Security Archive at George Washington University using the Freedom of Information Act.

NGoA maybe do some more research on those subjects. They are not talking about spreading propaganda. It is more geared towards Botnets and organized crime/terrorism on the internet. My self I think it is a bit of fear mongering but Botnets are a real threat to a whole lot of people.

One cannot help but be fascinated by the fact that you cavalierly dismiss the Fox News Channel (which leans center-right editorially, but which seems objective as a purveyor of news), while almost simultaneously referencing the leftist BBC, the pro-jihadist Al-Jazeera, and the (apparently) conspiracy theory-driven The Register (whose contributors feel compelled to put the words war on terror in quotes, as though it were a mere delusion).

Given your choice of reading material, it should probably come as no surprise that you believe as you do.

I think there are paid operatives on many forums but you will never know who they are.

Most of the time though its just a bunch of nuts(my self included) who would rather forum then watch American Idol.

Or maybe this forum is a government project that follows the pulse of concerned people, studing how people can offend eachother while discussing politics. Or a manchurian type experiment without the same hypnotic orders. Maybe a test to see how many times a member will report posts that do not qualify as reportable posts.

No, NGOA I'm not getting paid by President George Walker Bush I just happen to feel he has had one of the toughest pesidencies in US history and has made the right decisions in regard to protecting this country from terrorist attacks
