At least in your state, you have the option. In California you can only vote rebublican if you register republican.

And in his state he can vote for the lesser of two candidates and still vote for Hillary in the Primary.

Huckabee? Is that a joke I've missed or are you being serious. Anyway, good luck with it, hope it goes smoothly for you.

Cheers Dustin, there is nothing like the exhilaration of the first time you cast a ballot!

Yup! Boogy's right! My first vote was for Jimmy Carter for his second term and it was very disappointing when he lost. I hope that your first vote for Obama is a cause for celebration! He's way ahead in the polls in Georgia, so I think at least your state will have him in the winner's column!

I will not be voting in the New York primary since I am neither a Democrat nor a Republican and New York (rightly, in my opinion) doesn't allow people from other parties to vote in a Republican or Democrat primary.

"Why?" asks the confused waiter, as the panda makes toward the exit. The panda produces a badly punctuated wildlife manual and tosses it over his shoulder.

"I'm a panda," he says at the door. "Look it up."

The waiter turns to the relevant entry and, sure enough, finds an explanation.

"Panda. Large black-and-white bear-like mammal, native to China. Eats, shoots and leaves."
