Hillary Clinton.

The 90's.
Do I have to say anymore?

In my mind, the 90's represents Florence during the renaissance.
We were flourishing. Everything from a surplus to the Red Hot Chili Peppers to happy people.

So basically, you don't want Hillary Clinton, you want another term for Bill. Wait, no, that's not it either. You just want a time machine to go back twelve years. Good luck on that.

Spin alert!

The general meaning of my post was that I want another president whos going to progress us in the way Bill did. And because Hillary was a direct part of that I feel she could take that experience and project it into a new era.

Hilary is not bill, she is hilary. You are voting for her and her policies, not bill's.

So, because her husband did a good job, that means she will? And even if she follows similar policies, how do you know that the same policies that worked twelve years ago will work now? You don't. Hillary is not Bill. You know, I don't even know what Hillary believes. She's changed her "official" views on just about every topic but healthcare, and I think nationalized healthcare is a terrible idea. I don't trust her.

And has Barack Obama even named one way he would increase bipartisanship and 'change Washington'? I don't think so.

P.S. The President has very little control over domestic issues - the Congress controls domestic issues. The President controls the military and foreign policy. Just keep that in mind.
Barack hasn't said what he is going to do, he doesn't have to. I'm guessing you don't listen to conservative radio, but Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hanity and all the rest have admitted that they like Obama. Rush Limbaugh puts out 100 times more attacks on McCain than Obama, he says more nice things than mean things about Obama.

This is a democrat that has the conservative talk radio heads saying possitive things about him. How much more bipartisan do you want? Hillary is the opposite, she will divide the country only further and create more hate between parties.

Not everyone was happy. The surplus so enjoyed was from cheap outsourced sweat shop labor. The 90's was a most vile decade filled with national narcissism and a prideful hubris on par with the Tower of Babel. But, oh yeah! that's right ...our Towers of Babel fell down. We are now beginning to reap what we have sown and the Clintons are not going to change that.

Hillary is, and has been part of the Washington bureaucracy for 30+ years. She's been corrupted by the system.

Why would you want others to utilize propaganda in order to influence your opinion?

I'm personally filling in Mike Gravel's name come March, but that's just me. He's the only Leftist running.

- Fillibustered the Vietnam draft
- Read the Pentagon Papers on the congressional record
- Supports homosexual marriage, abortion rights, and other pivotal civil rights issues
- Advocates a universal single-payer health care system with choice in doctors and clinics
- Wants immediate withdrawal from Iraq; establishment of a Muslim-only peace force; end embargo on Cuba; reduction in international weapon sales
- Advocates a national initiative so people can make laws on the federal level
- Wants to strengthen unions
- Seeks to end the War on Drugs; legalize marijuana and LSD; make harder drugs a medical problem - not a legal one
- Supports lowering drinking age to 18 for all states
- Doesn't buy into the pseudo-libertarian love affair with "states rights" - that same philosophy would have kept slavery and Jim Crow intact. Instead he upholds the leftist principle, PEOPLE rights
- Bonuses for teachers; higher power; reduction in education administration and empowerment of teachers and parents
- Supports financially backing African Union to contest Sudanese problem
- Abolish the electoral college
- Work towards e-democracy
- Wants to figure a workable way to enact a living wage
- Supports increasing the capital gains tax
- Progressive FairTax supporter - wipe out the IRS and create an alternative to the "popular" FairTax with progressive tax brackets and progressive rebates
