No ones "chasing muslims" in the US--except a few fanatics and xenophobes. The fact that the groups that attacked us or are our enemies to us are mainly muslim is irrelevant. I dont think most Americans have anything against muslims and since the relative number of muslims in the United states is small, i dont think anyone really has anything personally against them as a cultural group.
We might be more willing to suspect muslims as possible terrorists at customs...which has proven to be true on more than one account...but that is only because it was muslims who killed 3000 US citizens. Their operations were in the middle east, therefore we are in the middle east now.
