And being a nation of laws and the govt. ignoring it would have some connection to just where you place it. But your not seeing the big picture at all. I am not attacking you or what your saying.
Just pointing out some truths that have been fostering a long while. See Big Business as you point out (and the 5 state raid earlier) shows that we aren't the bosses we should be so then who is?
Not the companies that break the rules/laws. Heck there are plenty of them. But the CEO's and others who separate the real 5% of Americans (in this case not all have vested interested in the issues but most do) who own 90% of the wealth. And the many boards and CEO's and managers that hide then from being any where the issue, but gain the most. See the robber barons never went away. They got smarter and created companies and boards and the CEO's and others. Give that some thought please rouge, thanks for the moment to have my rant. lol
Maybe you've missed my point. It's not as if the fed gov out of the clear blue sky suddenly decided 'not to enforce existing immigration laws' on their own is it? The fed gov would have had to have been 'pursuaded' to not enforce existing immigration laws. The ONLY ones who would benefit from the fed gov not enforcing existing immigration laws ARE the employers of illegals, because they want an endless supply of cheap illegal labor. The question one might ask is how many lobbyists and how many bought off politicians from these employers of illegals did it take for the fed gov to stop enforcing existing immigration laws?

Another point I tried to make was that illegal immigration is NEVER going to be stopped until the main reason why most of the illegals come, that is the jobs magnet provided by the employers of illegals, is eliminated. Ending the jobs magnet is by far the single most important step to take in ending illegal immigration.

Since the fed gov has been rendered dysfunctional, bypassing the fed gov and having the states pass tough on illegal laws that dry up jobs for illegals worked in Arizona and Oklahoma. Apparently state legislators are a little more responsive to the public than Washington politicians.
