Here is the letter to the editor that I sent. I hope they print it.

Wow, where have I heard so much nonsense about such benign subject matter? Oh yeah, when the subject of allowing draft beer, IN BARS, was being discussed. The uproar against this project is absurd. It pains me to find that so many in this community feel as though we should be allowed to vote on whether or not a legal business undertaking should be allowed. Its a republic people. You know, rule of law. Do we not still live in America? I'm honestly speechless.... well almost. The only argument I've heard so far has of coarse been because of religion, namely southern baptist beliefs, go figure. Look folks, believe in what ever fairy tales you want to on your own time and quit discriminating against people and enterprises that do not fall into the narrow dogma you happen to follow. Personally, I believe the reason so many fundies are against the Country Crossing project is because it will be so much bigger than the biggest church compounds in this city and they will be forced to raise even more money to build, build, build. Look folks, we're about to pass up a golden opportunity to do some actual economic good in this community and we're about to throw it away because some people think that it will result in their children drowning in a lake of fire or some equivalent nonsense. If you want to vote against Country Crossing then do so by not spending your money there. It is that simple. Meanwhile, give us heathens the opportunity to feel like we still live in America and not Iran or Saudi Arabia.
