As for the Qu'ran, well it says that charity should be given (the poor-rate) to help the unfortunate. Note that the Qu'ran also says, "He who walks with peace walks with Him". It is ultimately a book of peace, with faults as you have highlighted, but no more than christianity.

No god is not peaceful he is fair and just. In we also need to be the same on world issues if we want fairness. I don't disagree with what your saying there in. I've seen a lot of quotes about a good hundred that are near the same if not worst then the ones you posted for the bible in the Koran. Yes god can do what ever he wants, but islam seems to be a little bit more focus on god ordering humans to kill.
I don't really know enough about the whole Koran to judge it. I will admit it.
