In case you are curious, liberalism originates in the Enlightenment period and is represented by late 17th century English Whigs, which is some 200 years before Karl Marx ever published a word.
There is nothing even remotely liberal about Karl Marx's work. And yes, I have read (and formally studied) most of his published academic work.

I understand that liberalism in the old days was what you said. But many of the commies have gotten into our school system, and brain washed people into believeing in what Karl marx taught. This has killed more then a hundred million people over the last hundred years. But keep on sleeping.
Really in the 1950s and early 60s this was there goal to get into higher learning, to change the country.
