Actually, Iran is a Muslim nation, in the broad sense of that term; but it is not an Arab nation. And in the event of war, it is most unlikely that Sunni-majority nations, such as Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and Jordan would rush to the aid of their Shiite-majority rival.
