Conquering Cuba would be a cakewalk. Pacifying it would be obviously difficult as Cubans wouldn't sit well with an occupier, but do you really think that the US Navy and Airforce couldn't keep the entire world off of that island if they so chose?
I believe in self determination. I see no difference between you, a citizen of the UK, telling Cuba what is best for them, and me, a citizen of the US telling Cuba what is best for them.

Where there is a will there is a way. If people couldnt get to Cuba another means would be found. Che's words would be followed. The fight would come to the American mainland if need be.
