Like we have said there will still be a large difference in labor costs between say china and here so even if taxes are cheaper it will still be cheaper to manufacture the stuff in china.

Not all jobs can do cheap labor. Take software for example.
I explained in a previous post exporting would be tax free, unlike now.
That is a reason why we are losing jobs, not only are we preventing those jobs from leaving but getting jobs back by fixing the problem. We are allowing them to compete more effectively.
