While moslems certainly shouldn't be attacked, injured, or persecuted, I don't see a reason to tolerate their beliefs, as least intellectually. We shouldn't need to tiptoe around the issue of Islam being a violent, dangerous, irrational faerietale. It is. Just like Christianity, except I would argue that in some ways, Christianity can be worse when in the hands of the most powerful nation on Earth. I am afraid of Bush and his theocratic cronies more than Islamic terrorists.
Islam is inherently bad, just as Christianity is inherently bad. Faith itself is bad. Neither are actually compatible with enlightenment values. We just shoehorn them into it and ignore the blatant contradictions.
