It would be delusional for Chavez to attack the US, he is not an idiot and he wouldn't do it, he likes Americans - they are his comrades too. Any chance of a war with US and Venezuela would be purely defensive from Venezuelas point of view. I doubt there will be any war, i have faith that the American people would not allow it.
