Yes, it is a matter of catering, for exactly the same economic impulses that you mentioned. Companies, while they certainly have the right to mandate Spanish proficiency and deal with non-English speakers, I contend ought to have enough pride in their country and culture to reject the increased profit incentive of dealing with the disrespect that is embodied in an immigrant's refusal to learn our language.
