It's obvious that the fed gov is dysfunctional, bought off and run by and for special interest groups. The states are less dysfuncional than the fed gov, probably because their legislatures are more accessable and accountable to the public. If enough states pass tough on illegals/tough on the employers of illegals law, the fed gov will have to finally pass something like the SAVE Act.
